Established in 1988, Aerotech Management Incorporated (AMI) specializes in defense business development, systems/test engineering, and program management consultation for defense contractors and government agencies. Located in Lexington Park, Maryland, five minutes from the Patuxent River Naval Air Station, AMI provides a full range of technical, programmatic, and consulting service to its clients. For fifteen years, AMI has offered support to numerous aviation programs such as Sikorsky and Lockheed Martin MH-60R/MH-60S helicopters, the EH-101 Merlin helicopter, the Piasecki Vectored Thrust Ducted Propeller Program, Airborne Mine Neutralization Systems, and the Airborne Low Frequency Sonar (ALFS) Program. With focus on the acquisition period between concept development and operational introduction, AMI is able to assist clients with the research engineering and manufacturing development phase of their program as well as the phases of technical and operational testing. Over the years, AMI has produced and published numerous reports for government and private sector clients. The core product of many AMI contracts is a research report on an assigned topic. In a typical task order, the client seeks a new approach or requires specialized assistance in solving a problem or completing the program. AMI is brought in, briefed on the particulars, and then tasked to provide research reports that provide conclusions and recommendations. In many cases the AMI report is compared to internal findings within the client organization in order to provide a "sanity check" or optimize the final output/response of the client. AMI has also published numerous sets of Mission Scenarios and Mission Profiles for aircraft that will be fielded in the next five to ten years. These scenarios and profiles are used for human factors studies, software planning, laboratory demonstrations, and aircraft testing during TECHEVAL and OPEVAL. On many occasions, Aerotech Management has provided “red team” services on proposals being submitted by aerospace companies. There have also been instances where AMI has been contacted to work directly on other company’s proposal teams. AMI is a Veteran Owned Small Business. The business base of Aerotech Management has increased each year since its inception. AMI provides high quality technical and programmatic services to the aerospace community. |
